Word Filled Wednesday ~September 8,2010

 Recently we are being taught that we are blessed to be a blessing at our church~This has really been close to my heart, I desire and want to be a blessing to others. Anyway last night during the service this word was given and it says it all about being a blessing to others.

Genesis 12: 2
I will make you agreat nation;
I I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you.
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

I think that the last portion of this verse is amazing Gods word says that through us (us being a blessing to others) All the families of the Earth will be blessed.

Word Filled Wednesday #5 August 22,2010

This week the Lord has really been speaking to me about having a pure heart, some of the scriptures I have found are:

“Blessed are pure in heart, for they will see God.” – Matthew 5:8


Psalms 24:4-5 – “He who has clean hands and pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive the blessing from the Lord.”


1 Timothy 1:5 – ” The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart, and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

• Psalms 51:10 – “Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
• Psalms 119:9-10 – “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart. Do not let me stray from your commands.”

Word Filled Wednesday Blog Hop #4

Wow, I got a little behind and missed posting last week. I am so amazed at what the lord has been doing this last week..the scripture that spoke most to me this week was Psalm 139:14
I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well.
I was so amazed at this verse when the lord said to me yesterday on my birthday~48 years ago today you were fearfully and wonderfully made..I have heard this verse before; but when I heard the Lord say that to me~I am like Wow!
I pray that whoever reads this will receive that exactly how i did! You are fearfully and wonderfully made...
