 Hi Everyone!
Mother's Day is not to far away so I thought we would start off with doing a contest and the winner will receive a hand made mini scrapbook from me and a Journal.
All you have to do is leave a post about Mother's Day (something about your Mom, something special that your family has done for you in the past) and please leave your name with your post so, I will know how to get a hold of you.
This will start today and winner will be drawn on the 19th..Have a blessed Easter.

  1. I will never forget my first Mother's Day. My dh went all out even though those were some very tight financial times. I got a card, breakfast in bed and some flowers. I think that first Mother's Day is so special. Mother's Day means something totally different when you join the "mom club".

  2. For me, I always remember my Moma who is gone now and I miss her so much. I also enjoy being a Moma and Grandma and this is a day just for Momas and being a Moma and Mamaw is so important to me. This year I have a new granddaughter so it will be even more special.

  4. Hands down the best ever mothers day surprise for me would be my
daughter. She arrived on mothers day in 2004!
Now though, i have to share mothers day with her birthday every few years.

  5. My daughter had her first child a little over 6 years ago, she lives in Alaska and I live in Washington....but since she was pregnant with the 1st child-we've spent every Mother's Day together! This year is no exception!

  6. I realize my mother did the best she could. She has limitation, just like the rest of us. It is hard to come to realize that your mother is only human and makes mistakes, but her love is undying and as pure as her heart it. For years I resented my mother, but now, I appreciate all the sacrifices she made for her family and I now realize how hard her life was. I ask God to bless her for being the mom of so many ungrateful kids, Me, being the worse offender. I pray that God would bless her beyond anything she can imagine, and I thank God for giving me a mother that taught me so much about life. She did the best she could, for that I am grateful.b

  7. I don't think you fully appreciate your mom until you are a mom yourself. My mother is a wonderful woman, and I am blessed to have her as my mom. Watching her life, I can see how to live a life of service to our Heavenly father. You should taste her homemade pie....yummy! She's a wonderful cook and just a beautiful lady. I would be so honored if someone said I was like my mom!! Thanks Rachelle for giving us a place to talk about our moms! :)
