DT Purplefuntastick Creations

Today our project for Purplefuntastick Creations Design Team is to create a 3-D flower project along with including the recipe for making this … to make life a little more interesting, this is only Part 1 and the entire DesignTeam both the Senior and the Junior Team are working as one!!!
Recipe
Pattern from Leisure Arts
I chose Strawberry Yarn

Hi Everyone!
For today's challenge I wanted to crochet a rose, I went through 3 different patterns before I found this one and it was the easiest one of all 3. I love to crochet but, this is the first time I have ever attempted to make a flower, once the flower is made, you roll it and then sew it at the bottom to hold it into place. I hope in the future to make an afghan.

Now be sure to check out what the rest of the Purplies have for you today. I have seen some of their flowers and they are beautiful! Don't miss them. Here is the line up:

Design Team Announcement

This is my first Design Team Project for Kari’s Junior Purplies and you can find the complete Design Team projects at http://purplefuntastickcreations.blogspot.com/ . Her instructions were simple – we were to do a Love project and think out of the box and yes it can be anything paper related or home decor just don't do a card...along with trying to be different!

This is my project Love project thinking outside of the box

I made my project for a dear friend of mine, I am so amazed by my friend Shirley and her husband Craig, They have raised their family and they are adopting 2 kids~These kids are so blessed to have Craig and Shirley as their Father & Mother because they will receive a lot of love.
I took each canvas and painted them and then matted the paper on the top with mod podge, then I made the letters by cutting them out with my E2 and used Alphabet to cut the letters at 3.5 inches, I then used my Imaginisce I-Rock Tool to add to the letters, For embellishments I added a couple of roses, each block are put together with hinges.

Love
Thank You for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my Junior Purplies DT project. Please stop by and visit Lisa, Andrea and Jackie.
