Oh How He Loves Us

Today I am reminded of how precious we are to the Lord, and how much he loves each one of us, all he desires is an intimate relationship with each one of us. I pray today that you know deep within your heart how precious you are to the Lord.

You are very Precious to God

Today I was blog searching~ And, I found this article written by Shelly Wildman over at Mels World and in this article Shelly was talking about how God kept prompting her to read the book of Daniel~ she talked about how many times she has read it before and how yes it is full of Prophesies that are just way over her head but, this time God showed her something Completely different.


In Daniel 9:23, the angel Gabriel (yes, the same Gabriel who visited Elizabeth and Mary in Luke chapter 1) visits Daniel as he is pouring out his heart before God, confessing his sin and praying for mercy on the people of Israel.

Here’s what the angel says to Daniel:

“The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God. . . .” (New Living Translation)

This verse practically jumped off the page of my Bible and kissed me in the face. I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was to read those words, “. . . you are very precious to God.”

I felt like God was telling me that it’s not just Daniel who was precious. I am also very precious to God. And you are too.

Precious enough that He hears our prayers.

Precious enough that He commands angels to help us.

Precious enough to reveal His word to us.


This really spoke to me, it was a gentle reminder that I am important to God~ I am precious to Him and everything about me, who I am and what I am going through is important to Him.
I just wanted to share this with my readers that you know you are too very PRECIOUS TO GOD.

I am strong and of good courage

I am strong and of good courage, I do not fear nor am I afraid, for the Lord my God, He is the one who goes with me, He will not leave me nor forsake me. Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

 

These words I needed to hear today, we have been facing a lot of difficult things lately. calls come in and the enemy tries to instill fear into our lives, but God's word tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us~we need to keep trusting God even during the difficult circumstances we may face~God is still there with us in the midst of all that we may be going through. When we don't have the strength to go on we can lean on God and draw from Him the strength that we need. 

Remember no matter what circumstance you may face~He is with you and He will carry you through. He loves you and cares for you and about you in every way..There is no circumstance to big for God~We just need to lean on him and trust in him and not lean on our own understanding but, on his (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Todays Sermon

Today my Pastor really brought the Heart of Jesus~He talked about the Great Commission
The Great Commission~Go Into all the World and Preach the Gospel to every Creature (Man, Woman and Children)This is his commandment to us.
Another way to look at it is~ There is 168 hours in one week-can we commit to one hour a week~to reach others for Christ, to show someone we care or to encourage someone, that is only giving 10 minutes a day of our time to show others the love of Christ, or to disciple someone..This really spoke to me~I went in asking God to give me confirmation on something that someone asked me to prayerfully do this week and I asked God to give me Confirmation~and boy did I ever get that Confirmation today~In everything I do, I want to bring Glory and Honor to my Lord, I want him to be proud of me every time He looks at his daughter..
