21 Day Bible Memory Verse Challenge

Day 2

This morning as we sat around the kitchen table and enjoyed breakfast together we reviewed our verse that we worked on the previous day, Joshua 1:9~ "Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid..for the Lord thy God is with thee." I asked each of the children what this verse meant to them..
Zachary said that it meant that God would always be with Him.
Whitney~said that no matter what she didn't need to be afraid that God is with her.
We also talked about a few Bible Stories where someone showed courage and was protected or helped by God (David fighting Goliath, Daniel in the lion's den, Noah building the ark, Moses crossing the Red Sea, Jonah and the Whale etc)
I love having these precious moments with my children in the morning.

Today we are beginning our first day starting this Challenge~I am really excited to start this challenge with my Children and instill God's word in their hearts~God tells us to Teach a Child in the way He shall go and He will not depart from it, I know instilling God's Word in my Childrens hearts will be something that they will always remember..
