The Simple Woman's Daybook September 7~2010

Outside my window... ~Is a chilly September morning, cloudy with a chance of rain.

I am thinking... ~How I love to listen to Praise and Worship music early in the morning.

I am thankful for... ~My husband, who is a wonderful man of God and loves me and his children dearly.
I am wearing... ~Grey shorts with a pink tank top and light pink shirt over that.
In the learning room... ~ Our first day back to school~I am looking forward to our new year.

I am remembering... ~ My babies when they were little.
I am going... ~ To start Bible College on the 12th~I am looking forward to that.

I am currently reading... ~ More Hours in my day by Emilie Barnes

I am hoping... ~ That I can loose this weight on my own with the Lord's help.

On my mind... ~ Our School year and Praying that God will help me stay focused on the kids and my priorities to them. Also, my 2nd baby graduates this next June, I can't believe she is a senior.

Noticing that... ~ I need to start shopping weekly instead of bi-weekly-things just don't last long enough with teenagers in the house :)

Pondering these words...May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14

From the kitchen... ~ This summer we started Taco Tuesday~due to Church we needed something quick so we will continue this throughout the year.

Around the house... ~ Getting the kids going with their school work, then laundry and cleaning.

One of my favorite things ~ Enjoying time with my family

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you

  1. God's richest blessings upon your new school year! I can't believe that this is our 2nd no-school year! After 16yrs of homeschooling, it's still hard to get used to the fact that they are ALL graduated now!

So exciting that you're starting Bible School!! I got my Associate's Degree from a little Seminary in our area in '08, so I know what it's like going back to school in our...shall we say...LATER years! '-) lol If you go to my blog, you can read my thesis ~The Biblical Basis for Homeschooling Christian Children. I posted it in 6 parts, so you have to go to the bottom to start at the beginning.

    Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><
