The Simple Woman's Daybook ~October 27~2008

For Today...

Outside my Window...a beautiful day today with the sun shinning and 52 degrees outside

I am thinking...How much I see the Lord changing things in our lives since we made the decision to move to a different church.

From the learning rooms...lots of catching up to do, learning about multipulcation and fractions.

I am thankful for...the Lord giving us peace even during the difficult times of my husband being laid off, we have assurance that the Lord will provide for us.

From the kitchen...Garlic and Herb Roast and Veggies ( a new recipe with a big hit from my family)

I am wearing...grey shorts, light purple shirt and bare foot..

I am reading...Not anything right now.

I am hoping...to get caught up with the house work as much as I can, finish working on an afghan I started.
I am creating...a new website for my crochet and knitting projects.

I am hearing...the puppies barking outside and the christian radio.

Around the house...working on cleaning and dusting, need to clean one of my couches, might make some no bakes later.

One of my favorite things..is going for a drive with me family to see our beautiful Country.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Plans on fixing our Septic Tank, we need a new drain field so I am hoping that gets done.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

  1. I was encouraged by your comments of having peace when going through financial hardhsips. God has proved Himself to my husband and I so many times when our financial state looked bleak and dismal on paper. Our heavenly Daddy is always faithful. It never ceases to amaze me how much we have with so little apparent income. He is good and just to meet our needs!
